HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

So the new year is here (woohoo) and I'm so freakin' ready to let go of 2011. Even though this year so many things happened, non of them made me THAT happy, I still like 2010 better. I'm not going to do a month to month what happened kind of blog, because I hardly remember what I ate yesterday, let alone what I did in January. OK, I'm going to try! *sigh* 

• January: Beginning of Spring Semester, which is beginning for college, not so much to say. I remember being really upset about leaving 2010. I also remember having some big hopes for 2011.. not so much was done though. 

• February: The month of love. I remember having a crush on every hot guy I saw.. and deciding that I should study harder. 

• March: Spring Break? that's all I'm saying.

• April: April's Fool, and almost done with Spring Semester!! 

• May: FINALLY done with studying and tests, some weeks of vacation, and the horrible decision that I'm not going to take a long summer vacation, and instead taking a summer semester. 

• June: My sister's birthday, usually this takes the whole month, even though the event is just one day.

• July: Being super excited about my birthday, even though it's a whole month away. And being excited about almost finishing Summer semester !! 

• August: My birthday! and some really weird decisions. Because I was super scared of being 20, and I usually have some high expectations for myself, like, when I get older I'm going to do this and this and this... One of the bad decisions: opening a Facebook account for family members. One of the best decisions: planning on completing a book challenge with the help of Goodreads.com and making a library card. Now that I think about it, August was probably the best month of the year, I got a lot of things done...

• September: decided that I want to be a blogger... bad idea. 

• October: wanted to watch movies. but couldn't for personal reasons. 

• November: Hating my fall semester classes more that ever. Because of failed projects.

• December: Planning for next year. and Finishing my book challenge :)

So I guess that is it, I told you I don't remember much.

I might have spent longer than I thought I would on this book, but it's only because I truthfully didn't want it to end. I got to a point in this book, where I heard a door close outside my house and I jumped ! I was that scared, not only for me, but also for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Every time Harry saw that Grimm, my heart would skip a beat. It's funny how Harry was right at the beginning, troubles do follow him.

Cant Wait for the Hunger Games!!

Today while browsing through the web, I was reminded yet again of how excited I am for the hunger games movie. So, because I'm crazy when I become a fan, I thought I would share this with you.

I watched this movie yesterday after buying the DVD. I've been wanting to watch the movie in a theater, but it's a good thing I didn't. I think I've cried my EYES OUT! At the beginning I was thinking that maybe I shouldn't watch it. Bu then it got interesting. The acting performance was so believable, I kept telling myself that it's just a movie, and I should stop crying, this isn't real, but maybe it is.

I'm giving this book a 4 because I really am confused. I'm so sick of the games, I just want to know who A is. I don't want to hear about the stories of who died, or who is getting divorced, or who is getting married to who or who is breaking up with who. I don't even want to know what the Jenna thing truly is or even who killed Ali. I just want to know WHO THE HELL A IS!!

I just wanted to ruin this book for you, even though I knew that you have already read it since you were in middle school.

So, Harry Potter. He's an interesting person. One moment he knows nothing about the Chamber of Secrets, a few chapters later, he might be the heir of Slytherin, a few chapters later, he's inside the Chamber itself!

What amuzed me most in this book is Lockhart. The way he always thought of himself as the best at everything, and then when tested so miserably just amuses me to the point where I'm crowling on the floor begining for mercy.

I don't usually like to brag, but seriously Tommy, I told you so.
The scene that destroyed me most is when Teresa betrayed Thomas. I saw it coming, from book 1, but somehow I got fooled along the way. Fooled that she will take him to a safe place, where WICKED can't reach him. But of course, I was wrong to believe that fake hope. She might have done it to rescue him, maybe for the future, but no matter what, I still don't trust her. I'm behind Thomas 100%, and Wicked is in no way good.

The only thing that made me raise my rating to 3 is the epic ending. I was bored during the whole book the idea of Jace belonging to Clary kept annoying me and making me hate the book. Yes, once upon a time I have wanted them to be together, but now with all the kisses and hugs and overwhelming love quotes, I hate it. I'm a selfish human being who wants Jace all to herself! I'm like Magnus, I fall for pretty things, and Jace is the most beautiful creature I have read about. Well, beside Jonathan/Sebastian. What I missed most in this book was Max. Even though he didn't appear much in the last 3 books, but just knowing that he will never be there again, made me remember him constantly.

Just like Hunger Games, Catching Fire is more amazing than anything I have ever read. Now that I said that I must say I only started reading books for two years now( fictional and non school related that is..)

I can officially say that I'm in love with this book. I didn't want to finish it. I wanted to read it forever and ever and ever! Sally is the funniest, laziest, most miserable mistress I have ever read about. I hate Sian though. She really irritated me, like something clicked in me when she entered the story. Of course I hate Clive. He reminds me of every man out there, who does something wrong and expect people to forget that he did something wrong. The type that lies but everyone seems to believe him.

This is not the type of books that I'm used, But I like it. It is a great story, probably happens everyday, but no one ever notices. It's about love, what it truly means, and when love gives you the other face.
How far is too far in love? would you rather be loved by the same person for the rest of your life, let them follow you wherever you go, Hunt you even.

I hated the main character, because she talked non-stop, and described a lot of unnecessary things. Otherwise I liked the story and how it's written. In the beggining it's one chapter of the past, and one in the present, until the story gets really complicated, which happen to be my favorite part, then it's just the present.

Because I want to do something un-usual

So, I'm bored of my life routine. I have decided to write reviews for the shows that I watch, on a weakly basis.

Beginning with Melissa and Joey, on ABC family, every Wednesday evening. I might be wrong, but didn't this show begin since forever? I do not mean to offend the show in any way, but I feel like I'm loosing some episodes here and there, and I don't always get their inside jokes. This week's episode was about Joey going to his high school reunion, and his date cancels on him at the end. Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that Joey and Melissa has this thing going on, and I really think that they have enjoyed that kiss. Just my seances here, don't try to read into it.

Absolutely AMAZING ! The only thing that I've hated is Peeta, and that was because he was so weakened by love. I guess that should make me hate Katniss, too, but I don't. I love that girl, and even though she doesn't know herself, I do. She's the most brave girl my eyes have ever read about, she's beyond beautiful, she's smart, funny, and can kill and love at the same time. Now tell me who doesnt want to be her? During the hunger games, all I could think about is what happens in the arena, sort of like what happens in Vegas. You would expect it to stay in Vegas... I mean the arena, right? well, guess again. I can't wait until I read the second book! All these nights I have been wondering what does Gale think, how does Gale react to Katniss kissing Peeta?, Will he smile back when he sees her?, Will he tell her he loves her? I AM DYING TO KNOW !!!!!! why? Because Gale is my perfect kind of guys. He's the type who would fit right into the best friend category, but he is hot enough that you can move him right into the husband category.

KungFu Panda2

Sorry, but this blog is going to be short because I'm so tired, and tomorrow is a big day, so I need to sleep early. Oh, and I DID wake up early today, but after finishing one chapter, I went back to sleep and woke up at 11 am.

Today I went to watch KungFu Panda 2. It was pretty funny, I liked most of it. It would be hard to compare it to Thor, since that one is action, and this one is comedy AND action :p. So, this movie talks mostly about Po's past, and how he ended up being a goose's son. The irony is that the one who destroyed his town was a bird too, a peacock. I don't know if they planned it that way for kids, but the peacock wasn't that scary, I thought at the end they would be friends!
I'm going too fast, BECAUSE I need to sleep. This is a kids' story, they all have happy endings, so of course Po won at the end, Tigress almost died, but somehow didn't, and Po's REAL father is Alive!! I bet there would be a third season, when he meets his father, and lives with him and so on.
So tomorrow, is going to be a busy day. First I need to wake up early enough to do my homework, which I didn't do. Then, I have to go get some papers from my school, then go back home, and go with my uncle to "somewhere", then go to school, for 5 straight HOURS, then finally come back home, and if my brother is not sick, take him to buy a new phone, then come back, do homework, then finally blog and sleep!
You would think I have it all planned, but I know something will go wrong, and I will end up being late for something, life always does that to me. Oh well, that's just life for ya!

GLEEK OUT!!!

You know how CRAZY loyal I am when it comes to watching my shows the day they come in, or maybe when they come online (because the whole Internet copy right issue). Anyways, I HAVE MISSED GLEE!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that? well, I had to watch two episodes now, and right now I'm watching the finale, where the new direction FINALLY go to New York for the Nationals. The one before that is called Funeral because, believe it or not, Sue's sister passed away (rest in peace). It was such an emotional episode! I kept on crying, then remembering that I had make up on, then screw that, its so sad... and so on, but I never said that oh it's just a show! or People die every day! lol I'm talking like Britany :P

Somethings are just not worth watching

I don't know what got into me and made me watch "Priest" today. As a thriller I would give it 6 or 6 and a half at most. The facts about vampires were just so WRONG! I still can't believe what they did!! 

First, they put vampires as those alien looking creatures that don't have ears or eyes or noses, just the mouth with sharp looking teeth. Sort of like Voldomort from Harry Potter movies, but without the eyes.. and then there were other creatures that I guess were human volunteers for the vampires, to feed on, They looked weird, and I didn't know what they were until my brother explained to me, which made me even more confused because he sounded like he didn't know either! The last "evil" creature was a human vampire, which was a human priest but then under attack they had to leave him to vampires (he slipped from the other man's hand) and so the queen was so "merciful" that she didn't let him die, but turned him into this "new" type of creature -as if the movie didn't have enough!- that is somehow stronger than any other priest. This third person/vampire was the only type of his kind, poor him! 

Ooh Narnia!

Since I'm really bored, and I decided not to focus on my tests which are next week btw. I just finished watching Narnia, the last movie (I suppose!) I don't understand why the little girl would want to be like her sister, and I don't understand why her sister and her brother ,who seem to be the oldest, can no longer go to Narnia. That could be because I have missed a few movies from the series of Narnia, even though I do remember watching the first one, maybe the second as well.
