Looking For Alaska [Audiobook]

Looking for AlaskaLooking for Alaska by John Green
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"Miles Halter is fascinated by famous last words and tired of his safe life at home. He leaves for boarding school to seek what the dying poet Francois Rabelais called the "Great Perhaps." Much awaits Miles at Culver Creek, including Alaska Young. Clever, funny, screwed-up, and dead sexy, Alaska will pull Miles into her labyrinth and catapult him into the Great Perhaps.

Looking for Alaska brilliantly chronicles the indelible impact one life can have on another. A stunning debut, it marks John Green's arrival as an important new voice in contemporary fiction."

I didn't know where this book was going at first. Miles kept counting down, I knew something big was going to happen, like someone suspended, or something. The actual event was a true shocker.

Characters:
Miles 'pudge': Such a cute boy, pudge is. I loved him from the first minute. If John Green were to re-write this story, he should leave this character alone.

Alaska:... I want to say that she's a bitch, but I feel so sorry for her that I won't.

Chip 'The Colonel': Braver man I ever knew!

well, that's it for now,

xoxo
Angel.
